Trarell Beckford, representing Speed Academy and Sanford Seminole High in Florida, won the boys 15-16 100-meter dash title in a wind-legal 10.94 seconds at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Beckford, entering his sophomore year, also took third in the 200-meter final in 22.35.
